During my time at the agency, the pandemic hit and Chicago’s Mayor Lori Lightfoot called on FCB for pro bono help with a city-wide PSA on COVID-19. I volunteered to join a small team of creative directors, writers, and designers that made this project happen in record time all while learning how to work together remotely for the first time. This campaign especially aimed to capture the attention of Chicago’s youth by bringing together the city’s sports teams to encourage everyone to stay inside.
My main responsibility was the execution of all digital billboards and out-of-home media. We also had the opportunity to come up with ideas for social media that would boost engagement and sustain attention around the campaign’s messaging during the weeks following its launch.
